The Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for the payment and programme administration functions. This position is also required to handle the income from institutional funders, monthly donors and coordinating day-to-day financial activities contributing to the cost-efficiency and effectivenessof the organisation.


  • Coordinate and prepare project data for annual submission.

  • Responsible and ensure projects related reports and schedules are prepared timely and accurately.

  • Ensure Project documents are reviewed and finance matters especially those with Project sponsorship are followed.

  • Effective collaboration with Programme Units and Appeals Team to monitor OHK fulfillment of Project requirement.

  • Ensure donation income from monthly donors are processed promptly.

  • Define responsibilities and provide management supervision, support and appraisal to the payment team.

  • Assist in formulate and implement policies and procedures in aspects of financial and internal control.

  • Assist Finance Manager on ad hoc projects as required.


  • A recognised degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration with a CPA or related professional accounting qualification.

  • 10 years or above relevant work experience, with at least 3 years on supervisory level.

  • Solid experience in CRM and accounting system.

  • Proficiency in MS office applications and Chinese word processing.

  • Analytical mind, strong coordination and negotiation skills, ability to work independently.

  • Excellent language skills in written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent Putonghua.

  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.
