​Educational Manager and Curriculum Developer for Be Priceless

Opportunity for school counsellor or educator to contribute to an educational program for vulnerable children and youth that aims to enhance wellbeing, empowerment and risk reduction.

Job Description:

  • Educational curriculum and program management expertise, with experience in school counselling or teaching of children or youth.

  • Support and lead the educational team, including optimizing educational content and operational aspects.

  • Tasks include:

    • Develop educational curriculum and content for student, families, teachers and schools on topics of wellbeing and safety.

    • Perform a program management role for the educational team (consists of teachers, educational
      psychologists and more)

    • Support youth engagement program in educational content development.

    • Design and develop teacher training courses

    • Contribute to multisectoral organizational work, including in organizational and
      educational program planning, development, production, dissemination, evaluation
      and review.

Job Requirement:

  • At least 3 years of relevant expertise in: school counselling, education and curriculum development including in topics of child and youth empowerment, wellbeing and protection.

  • Strong ethical and professional standards.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, good communication and productivity skills.

  • Leadership and management competencies.

  • Able to deliver good quality work with attention to detail and on time.

  • Able to work independently but also a good team member.

  • Degree in education or psychology.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Proficiency in written English Implementing social and emotional learning or risk reduction education.

  • Working with disadvantaged children or youth.

  • Interactive teaching methods, online learning

  • Able to communicate complex topics clearly and creatively to children/youth.

  • Strong storytelling skills preferred.

Contractual Details:

  • Part-time, contract-based, flexible hours, remote work.

  • Payment: $15,000/month for half-time work. Negotiable for greater time and longer duration of commitment.

  • Duration: Negotiable.
