Maggie's Cancer Caring Centre brings together professional help and communities of support in a beautiful and peaceful building in Tuen Mun, to provide practical, emotional and psychosocial support to empower people affected by cancer, their families and friends to live with, through and beyond the illness.
Senior Fundraising and Communications Manager
Fundraising and Communications Assistant
Lead the overall development and implementation of fundraising and communication matters on behalf of Maggie's Centre
Engage and communicate with key stakeholders including donors, partners and governors
Initiate, develop and implement fundraising proposals and plans, budgets and fundraising activities
Engage media contacts and partner with external parties in order to build awareness of Maggie's
Develop and implement communications and brand building strategies, motivating and maintaining public interest
Generate ongoing awareness and create content on social media channels
Support Maggie's flagship programmes including Fayre of Maggie's and Golf Day
Role of Senior Manager includes managing the Team and volunteers
Degree in Marketing, Communications or related disciplines
A minimum of 6 years solid work experience in non-profit organisation holding senior positions in fundraising.
Exceptional communicator with ability to understand and engage different stakeholders
Strong creative and development skills to generate fundraising programmes and ideas
Ability to work independently with minimal support and direction
Team leader or team player with ability to build good relationships
Excellent command of written English and Chinese, and spoken English and Cantonese.
Able to work on flexible working hours and locations with primary work location based in Tuen Mun.
Candidate with less experience will be considered for assistant position
