Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust corporate governance arrangements, maintain governance policies, guidelines and procedures and monitor their implementation.

  • Coordinate with members of senior management team, Council and Committees to ensure OHK is appropriately governed in line with relevant local law that is applicable. Report of any non-compliance.

  • Liaise with and provide key information to the members of Senior Management Team, Council and Committees. Provide clear direction for planning, scrutiny and assurance arrangements.

  • Perform secretarial duties of the Council, Committees and the Association, including organizing meetings, editing and compilation of briefing materials, documentation and papers for meetings, drafting reports, taking minutes etc.

  • Handle company secretarial matters and correspondences.

  • Assist in the communication and consultation among Senior Management Team, Council and Committees on matters related to Oxfam International Confederation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development or equivalent.

  • 8 years’ or above relevant experience, of which at least 3 years is on supervisory level.

  • Proven work experience in serving governance bodies, preferably in INGO/NGO setting.

  • Strong organization, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to forge and maintain good people relationship.

  • Competent in accuracy and due process, able to prioritize, handle high volume of documentation and work under pressure with tight deadlines

  • Preparedness to work flexible hours as required, including rostered weekends occasionally.

  • Excellent language skills, able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua

  • Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and Chinese word processing.

  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.
