Responsibilities:

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Operations Unit and assist the Director of Operations in areas of Finance, IT and HR

  • As a secretary to Finance, Risk and Audit Committee and HR Committee, arrange the meetings, prepare and compile papers and handle company secretarial matters/correspondence.

  • Risk management and risk register maintenance; ensure major risks are identified and reported, monitor management’s response and implementation of mitigation strategies.

  • Report cases of non-compliance whenever found.

  • Handle all issues for registered trademark in HK, China, Taiwan and Macau through monitoring, coordination, review, updates and liaison with designated trademark agents and / or lawyers.

  • Review contractual agreements and seek legal advice.

  • Assist in conducting research and compiling committee papers and reports, reviewing manuals, policies, procedures and guidelines of Finance, IT and HR.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder preferably in a relevant discipline, accounting, business, corporate secretarial and administration.

  • At least 5 years’ relevant working experience in related field, in public and or NGO sector is preferable.

  • Experience or knowledge in handling trademarks and intellectual property right is an added advantage.

  • Ability to analyze problems and make pertinent decisions promptly and in line with office policies.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, ability to work harmoniously with people from different backgrounds and sectors.

  • Meticulous, systemic, and able to prioritize when given variety of tasks on short notice.

  • Excellent language skills, able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese both verbally and in writing, including Putonghua.

  • Proficiency in MS office applications and Chinese word processing

  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.

 Candidate with less experience may be considered for the post of Assistant Manager – Governance & Operations.
