​Be Priceless is a non-profit educational organization that aims to empower disadvantaged children and their communities to strengthen their wellbeing and safety.

We work by community-wide collaboration to create an educational program that facilitate trusted partners (e.g. educators, social workers, NGO service providers and more) to provide empowering and engaging training to disadvantaged children and their caregivers to promote personal growth, well-being (physical, mental and social health) and risk reduction (against violence, exploitation, health risks, disasters, etc).

Key Jobs Responsibilities
Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Conduct literature reviews, map and report on MEAL approach relevant the program

  • Design, develop, implement, and assess MEAL framework, protocols, and tools that addresses the Be Priceless program and project needs

  • Develop a structure proposal for the MEAL with a list of “SMART” (specific, measurable, adaptable, relevant and time-bound) process and outcome indicators for review.

  • Design, develop, implement, collect data, analyze and report on situational analysis, monitoring and evaluations. This will include both qualitative and quantitative
    assessment. Apply strategies, such as participatory research, surveys, focus group discussions, interviews, questionnaires to evaluate baseline and interval changes.

  • Collect, analyze and report data collection, including perform statistical analysis for quantitative data, as well as qualitative data coding and thematic analysis.

  • Write and review reports to communicate our approach and findings to diverse stakeholder in effective and creative ways, including design infographics and write papers suitable for publication

  • Create and integrate graphics in reports and information products to help visualize data in a meaningful way

  • Develop training for organization’s M&E team and partners (e.g. educators) to conduct, collect data, analyze and use the M&E tool developed

  • Facilitate the alignment of M&E activities with program goals

Learning

  • Facilitate knowledge transfer for the stakeholders, the partners and the organization

  • Facilitate the dissemination of evidence, good practices and lessons learned to contribute to the organization learning and knowledge management.

  • Conduct relevant data collection activities to further advance organizational learning.

  • Document, analyze and report lessons learnt based on monitoring activities.

  • Contribute to the learning of the stakeholders, partners and organization creation of learning documentation and tools.

  • Drive the development of organizational, partners and stakeholders learning – identify opportunities for learning, research and publications and implementation of MEAL policy.

  • Facilitate pursuit of opportunities for development and funding for Be Priceless by contributing to grant proposal development.

  • Develop training for the organization and partners on M&E relevant to the program.

Accountability

  • Provide guidance and technical oversight for MEAL in all new and existing programs and projects.

  • Provide guidance and technical oversight for the design of the, the theory of change, MEAL frameworks.

  • Contribute to MEAL budgeting and staffing plans and activities for proposals.


Eligibility Criteria

  • 5 or more years of experience monitoring, evaluation, and reporting in the nonprofits, social or education sector required

  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, analyse and report for quantitative and qualitative assessments.

  • Experience in assessment strategies, such as participatory research, surveys, focus group discussions, interviews, questionnaires to evaluate baseline and interval changes

  • Demonstrated ability to write high quality technical proposals.

  • Masters Degree or above in public health, social sciences, or MEAL

  • High degree of competence in designing, developing including validating,

  • Experience using survey, qualitative data analysis, statistical analysis software and tools.

  • Knowledge of MS Excel, Word,.

  • Fluency in written and spoken.

Logistics: Contract-based, freelance work. Remote work.
Payment: ~$30,000 HKD/month – start with 2 month contract for part of the above work.
Possibility of extended contracts if the work and working relationships are satisfactory
