​Branches of Hope (“BOH”) is a Hong Kong based non-profit organisation established to restore dignity, justice and hope to the marginalised and vulnerable in Hong Kong. We are dedicated to bringing changes to the refugees, asylum-seekers (non-refoulement claimants) and human trafficking survivors communities through CARE, EMPOWERMENT, and SOCIAL REFORM.

The Partnership Manager is a full-time position that reports directly to the Executive Director, and works alongside the Program Teams of STOP and ROAD. The candidate will spearhead and execute the fundraising, marketing and communication strategy, look after donor relationships and establish partnerships beneficial to BOH programs. The candidate will also supervise the Events & Communications Officer.

The main role and responsibilities are as follows:

Strategy & Process Optimization

• Develop, implement and update the BOH Partnership strategy;
• Work with the BOH Advisory Committee on all aspects of partnerships to maximise reach and effectiveness;
• Ensure streamlined processes and efficient data management and use; revise or establish relevant databases to facilitate a holistic partnerships management.

• Establish partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including corporates, peer organisations, academia and schools, media outlets, volunteers, and individuals, and maintain relationships that cultivate a vibrant community in support of our programs;
• Emphasize corporate partnerships and work with ROAD and STOP teams to make comprehensive annual pitches to a wide corporate audience to offer a variety of partnering opportunities for programs and events; support teams to ensure they remain relationship focused;
• Improve volunteer management and create frequent, regular and wellorganised volunteer engagement opportunities to maintain volunteer satisfaction and support.


• Lead fundraising efforts and meet annual fundraising goals; develop and implement fundraising metrics to ensure the outcome of fundraising efforts can be quantified and analyzed, in order to maximize the ratio of income to expenditure;
• Consider all partnerships and communications initiatives with individuals and organisations through the prism of fundraising;
• Develop and maintain diverse and sustainable income streams to ensure uninterrupted program implementation, with emphasis on grants and corporate partnerships;
• Work with ROAD and STOP teams to identify grant giving donors, coordinate the preparation and submission of proposals, and follow up with the teams to ensure grant obligations (implementation targets, report deadlines, etc.) are met.

• Establish and maintain a regular annual fundraising events calendar, including standardisation of planning tools, budgets and processes, in order to maximise
engagement and resource mobilization opportunities;
• Oversee all aspects of events management, including conception, initiation, and planning; delegate tasks and provide supervision to the Events &
Communications Officer.

• Continue to strengthen the BOH brand as a credible organisation, in particular by expanding brand recognition and reputation among the local Chinese population;
• Enhance the transparency and accountability of BOH and increase support through the effective communication of the organisation's needs and achievements to the widest possible range of stakeholders;
• Lead the Events & Communications Officer to develop and implement communications tactics that will increase BOH's visibility within Hong Kong and maintain partners and supporters;
• Oversee use of website, print materials, media campaigns, events, and social media to communicate the messages of BOH;
• Develop and implement marketing strategies. Manage internal communications, marketing campaigns, and brand strengthening. Use all available tools to raise public awareness of BOH.

Job Requirements:
• Master's degree (or a Bachelor’s degree with 2 extra years of work experience), preferably in sales, marketing, or business development;
• At least 5 years' work experience required; demonstrated experience in event management and communications. Data analysis skills will be considered an asset.
• A person with refugee background is an advantage;
• Self-motivated and culturally sensitive to people from diverse cultural background;
• Having good understanding of issues faced by refugees, asylum seekers, survivors of human trafficking and victims of labor exploitation in Hong Kong is an advantage.
