Programme Officer (2-years contract)
Develop strategies and plan for implementing social innovation projects with project partners and collaborators to co-create solutions and deliver lasting impact for poor people;
Responsible for project management including social innovation projects, public engagement, education activities, social impact assessment;
Support development of partnerships and new forms of collaboration to tackle pressing poverty problems in Hong Kong through an innovative process of co-creation underpinned by design thinking;
Collaborate within social consultants to collectively achieve purposeful goals in addressing poverty problems;
Produce high-quality deliverables – such as gauge external funding and prepare funding proposals, prepare reports, presentations and events – to communicate the work impacts to external stakeholders, e.g. public, corporate, foundations;
Support the implementation of education programmes for schools, youth, public and corporates;
Undertake other functions as assigned by the Assistant Education Manager.
Degree holder with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience;
Solid experience in innovation, public campaign engagement, social and educational services design, social entrepreneurship and/or other related fields;
Experience in maintaining a network of partners and stakeholders such as NGOs, corporates, startup organizations, schools and education institutions;
Knowledge of innovation, poverty, development issues and climate change;
Solid skills in quantitative and/or qualitative research would be a strong advantage;
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, highly motivated and outgoing personality;
Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines and be a good team player;
Proactive, creative, detailed-minded, result-oriented and skillful at multi-tasking;
Excellent communications skills in both English and Chinese.
