The Project Coordinator serves as the major staff develop Ethnic Minorities vocational training programmes and consolidates difference resources while giving support to other work of the team if appropriate.
provide administrative service support to the operations and management of vocational training programmes and training courses in the centre;
liaise with collaborative partners and provide support to trainers and students related to teaching and learning;
assist in the design and implementation of marketing and promotional activities for the programmes and;
coach and supervise the staffs.
establish and development Quality Assurance guidelines and procedures for the vocational training programmes;
involve in accreditation and assessment exercises in regard to vocational area complied with the requirement of HKCAAVQ, and conduct projects relating to quality assurance of vocational training programmes.
Placement services and develop community network
develop and explore potential partners (schools, community and religious organizations) in support of our training programmes;
liaise with partners and potential employers for arranging placement services to course participants;
organize activities related to the publicity and promotion of the placement service.
produce high-quality deliverables—such as gauge external funding and prepare funding proposals, prepare reports, presentations and events—to communicate the work impacts to external stakeholders, e.g. public, corporate, foundations;
undertake other related tasks as requested.
Degree holder, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience (vocational training experience preferred).
Solid experience in project management and organization skills with great attention to details.
Experience in training course management, especially in qualification framework development.
Knowledge of ethnic minority poverty and education issues.
Solid skills in quantitative and/or qualitative research would be a strong advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proactive, enthusiastic, highly motivated and outgoing personality.
Able to work independently and multi-task, meet tight deadlines and be a good team player.
Good communication skills and fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.
