Project Officer (1-year Contract)
The Project Officer serves as the major staff to develop Ethnic Minorities vocational training programmes and consolidates difference resources while giving support to other work of the team if appropriate.
Course Administration & Management
Provide administrative service support to the operations and management of vocational training programmes and training courses;
Liaise with collaborative partners and provide support to trainers and students related to teaching and learning;
Support project governance with relevant stakeholders and adhere to compliance standard; and
Provide coaching and supervision to team members.
Placement Services and Develop Community Network
Develop and explore potential partners (schools, community and religious organizations) in support of our retraining programmes;
Liaise with partners and potential employers for arranging attachment and placement services to course participants.
Produce high-quality deliverables – such as gauge external funding and prepare funding proposals, prepare reports, presentations and events – to communicate the work impacts to external stakeholders, e.g. public, corporate, foundations;
Undertake other related tasks as requested.
Degree holder, with at least 5 years working experience.
Solid Experience in project management and organization skills with great attention to details.
Experience in training course management or Human Resources is an advantage.
Knowledge of ethnic minority poverty and education issues.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proactive, enthusiastic, highly motivated and outgoing personality.
Able to work independently and multi-task, meet tight deadlines and be a good team player.
Good communication skills and fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.
