Redress is an environmental charity with a mission to prevent and transform textile waste to catalyse a circular economy and reduce fashion's water, chemical and carbon footprints. Our programmes work to change mindsets to stop the creation of textile waste now and in the future, as well as creating partnerships that showcase value in existing waste. Working directly with designers, manufacturers, brands, educational bodies, government and consumers, Redress aims to create lasting environmental change in fashion.

Environmental non-profit Redress is looking for a Project Officer to support the Circular Fashion Team on a creative bilingual school education project to raise awareness about the environmental impact of fashion, and inspire positive action amongst students from local and international schools in Hong Kong.

The Project Officer will support the planning, development, execution and promotion of a series of exciting bilingual teaching and learning resources for Hong Kong students. The resources, which will be created in collaboration with third party vendors, include a storybook, video series, and an immersive virtual experience. The Project Officer will lead on relationship-building and engagement with local schools, including delivering talks and workshops to local school students, as well as vendor management, administration and logistics. The project is funded by a grant from the Environment and Conservation Fund and the Environmental Campaign Committee, and the role will also entail supporting all grant deliverables, administration and reporting.This role will suit an energetic person with a passion for education and sustainability, excellent people and communication skills in both Chinese and English, experience with administrative tasks, and an eye for detail.

Main reporting line: Circular Fashion Programme Manager


●Identifying and building relationships with partners from the local-school network (including schools, teachers, education bodies, student committees/groups and students), public libraries and local charities`.

●Organisation, logistics and delivery of student activities including talks and workshops with schools (local and international),public libraries and local charities.

●Public speaking and presentation to primary and secondary school students and teachers in both Cantonese and English.

●Translation from English to Chinese.

●Proofreading in Chinese and English.

●Identifying and liaising with vendors, partners and collaborators.

●Vendor administration including managing quotations and invoicing.

●Logistics management.

●Chinese promotion of the project to local schools,Chinese social media groups and other relevant Chinese networks, including content curation and dissemination.

●Supporting on all other project administration including filing/documentation, database management, budgeting, data collection and reporting.

●Supporting the wider activities of Redress and the Circular Fashion Team.


●Undergraduate university degree.

●Minimum 2 years relevant working experience.

●Project management, stakeholder engagement and/or administration work experience will be highly regarded.

●Experience working with schools, students, teachers,educators or curriculum development preferred.

●Eligible to live and work in Hong Kong (permanent resident or visa holder only).


●A strong communicator with excellent verbal and written people and communication skills in both Cantonese and English.

●Detail-oriented and organised, with excellent time management.

●Confident with numbers and databases.

●Ambitious, willing to learn, optimistic and enthusiastic.

●Willing to accept a high workload at certain times of the year.

●Word, Excel and Power Point skills a must.

●A passion for environmental sustainability and education.
