Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of fundraising strategy for private sector partnership programme and formulate donor upgrade strategy.

  • Responsible for implementation of fundraising programmes with a focus on major donor, corporate & foundation giving; solicit support and donations through mailings, telemarketing & personal communications etc.

  • Explore and coordinate legacy giving activities.

  • Cultivate opportunities to solicit project and events sponsorship, with support from relevant programme units and fundraising teams.

  • Explore activities and develop ideas for beneficiary events, ensure the collaborations are cost effective and ethical.

  • Develop and maintain donor recognition and loyalty programme. Ensure effective donor communications and reporting of OHK’s work.

  • Conduct market research and data analysis.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing or relevant disciplines with at least 8 years charitable fundraising or marketing experience, preferably at NGO/INGO setting.

  • Proven track record in securing corporate and foundation sponsorship and funding

  • Strong ability in networking and relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills and experienced in interacting with senior executives and business leaders

  • Familiar with the latest fundraising market

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure with tight timeline

  • Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and Chinese word processing

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, and fluent Putonghua

  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must

 Candidate with less experience may be considered for the post of Fundraising Officer.
