Senior Human Resources & Administration Officer

(Ref.: OU/SHRAO/20/01)

 

S/He assists the HRM in carrying out all human resources functions and office administration work smoothly and in an effective and efficient manner.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full spectrum of HR functions, particularly compensation & benefits, recruitment & selection and employee relations

  • Engage in HR projects and review, e.g. pay and benefits review, PMS, HRIS and budget preparation and monitoring

  • Manage the day to day administration including but not limited to purchase & procurement, repair and maintenance, documents filing, office hygiene, office safety and security, daily expenses management and processing, flight bookings of staffs etc.

  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors and building management office and coordinate with unit administrators on office administration matters

  • Develop and manage the volunteer & intern programme

  • Take up ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • A degree in HRM or relevant disciplines, with at least 8 years’ relevant working experience.

  • Well versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance. China experience and knowledge in China Labour Contract Law are an added advantage

  • Hands-on experience in payroll administration and HRIS operation

  • Demonstrated skills in supervising and developing subordinates, a good team player.

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems promptly

  • Meticulous, systematic, and able to prioritize when given variety of tasks on short notice

  • Good command of spoken and written both English and Chinese, fluent Putonghua

  • Proficient in computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing

  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must
