Senior Resource Development Officer / Resource Development Manager

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a positive, “can do” individual who has a passion in charity work, and a patient and organized individual who has ample event management experience.

Job Description

  • Management of a wide range of fundraising events such as ceremonies / dinners / charity walk / concerts etc. Including but not limited to attending event planning meetings, handling logistics, vendor liaison, volunteer coordination, marketing materials production, and oversee the overall event operation

  • Establish and maintain good relationship with donors, supporters and volunteers

  • Manage CHF’s official communication platform, such as Facebook and other social media

  • Update website contents

  • Handling any ad hoc tasks as required

 Job Requirements

  • University graduate with minimum 3-5 years’ event management experience in charities/NGOs or business related position in serving individuals and/or corporates (Non-degree holder with solid event management experience will also be considered)

  • Good team player with communication, presentation and language skills (Cantonese, English and Putonghua) in an environment of diversity

  • Proficiency in PC knowledge including MS Word, WordPress and Adobe Photoshop / other design software

  • Solid project coordination experience is a must

  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills

  • Flexible and adaptable to dynamic work environment

  • Willing to work during weekends if there are large scale events

  • Self-motivated with genuine interest in developing career with NGO

  • Occasional business trip may be required

  • Immediately available is highly preferred
