​Founded in 2007, HeroesToo is a registered environmental charity connecting individuals, schools, corporates, and communities and channelling this collective energy to create a lasting response to the environmental threats we face today. As an environmental education charity, we see education as part of the solution for today’s acute problems. Creativity, which is the essence of creative problem-solving, and critical thinking are key skills needed in leadership. That is why we have consistently created programs like our Design Thinking Workshops and Sustainable Design Challenges to stimulate students to solve current world problems in a sustainable and forward-looking way.

About the role

Help document, manage and drive the progress and delivery of key operational initiatives within HeroesToo including Design Challenge, Design Thinking workshops, Junior Eco-leadership programs and more. You’ll be collaborating with volunteer subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and on budget (if applicable). You’ll also help motivate and encourage other volunteer team members in achieving the team’s goals.

Responsibilities

•Collaborate and liaise with volunteer team members and volunteer SMEs to achieve project requirement

•Drive and outline clear and detailed project specifications

•Prepare weekly to fortnightly progress status and risk reports as required

•Provide tailored feedback to volunteer team members to assist in championing efficiencies

•Co-ordinate project lifecycle documentation including template creation and storage

•Delegate to and follow up on clear and succinct task assignments

Role Requirements / Qualifications

•Relevant experience in project management within similar industries including philanthropy, non-profit, NGO or professional services

•Excellent organisational, problem solving and interpersonal skills

•Demonstrated passion for the environment and understanding of the cause

•Strong command of English (Oral and Written), Cantonese desirable

•Familiarity with a workflow/project management program e.g. MS Project, Trello, Asana etc)

•Reliable, self-motivated and thrives on delivering results personality

•Proficient in a project management methodology (e.g. Scrum, Agile etc)
