Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and Full Time Finance Officer
to manage the financial operations of our organization and social enterprises. You will play a key role in ensuring transparency, compliance, and strategic financial planning to support our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers for the NGO and its social enterprises
- Manage cash and banks accounts of the NGO, perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare cheque or online payments to suppliers and vendors
- Handle accounts payable/receivable
- Assist in preparation of monthly, year-to-date, and annual financial reports
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
- Ensure compliance with Hong Kong accounting standards and NGO reporting requirements
- Liaise with auditors, donors, and regulatory bodies
- Support grant applications and donor reporting with financial data
Requirements
- Supports TNC’s mission and vision, passion for working for the charitable sector
- High Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in NGO or social enterprise settings (an advantage)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong financial regulations and tax compliance
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment
- Good communication skills in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
