The Karen Leung Foundation, a registered Hong Kong charity, is seeking a qualified part-time Intern.

The Karen Leung Foundation (KLF) www.karenleungfoundation.org is working to save lives in Hong Kong by raising awareness of gynecological cancer, educating women to increase rates of early detection and ensuring that women in treatment have access to optimal medical care. Founded in 2013, we are the first and only organization in Hong Kong solely devoted to women's gynecological cancers. To date, the Karen Leung Foundation has raised more than HK $44 million to fight gynecological cancer and help Hong Kong girls and women. The Karen Leung Foundation honors the memory of Karen Leung, a hedge fund trader, who died at age 35 following a diagnosis of metastatic cervical cancer.

Responsibilities
· Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the role will expose you to all aspects of the Foundation.
· Take a leading or supporting role in planning, marketing and delivery of fundraising events, such as: o KLF x MoonTrekker - Will You Beat The Sun? | Karen Leung Foundation
· Coordinate efforts across key projects, communications and outreach to maximize engagement and impact.
· Develop reports and insights for senior leadership, tracking progress, impact and lessons learned for major programs and events.
· Build strong relationships with volunteers and positively always represent the Karen Leung Foundation.
· Be proactive in areas such as organizing incoming correspondence, maintaining and updating the team calendar, scheduling and confirming appointments and meetings, and preparing necessary documentation or briefing materials.
· Support event logistics by securing venue bookings, negotiating and liaising with vendors and suppliers to confirm services and deliveries, coordinating volunteer recruitment and schedules, and assisting with on-site event setup and management to ensure smooth operations.
· Collaborate closely with the social media manager and external partners to align messaging and promotional activities, contribute content ideas, and facilitate effective communication across all Foundation initiatives to maximize outreach and engagement.

Requirements
· Currently enrolled in university or a recent graduate
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, internet research, and basic data management
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail
· Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
· Knowledge of Asian language
· Interest in health, wellness a plus
· Prior experience in project or event management is highly preferred
· Available immediately for full-time or part-time flexible internship, Monday to Friday’s 9-6pm.
· Occasional weekend work required on bespoke projects
