As a Marketing and Communications Associate, your work will make a tangible difference in expanding our organization's reach and fostering a culture of inclusion. Your creativity will shape narratives that resonate and inspire positive social change. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to kickstart a career to work in marketing and communications within a local NGO that values work-life balance and offers opportunities for professional development. You will collaborate closely with the Communications & Outreach Manager, splitting your time evenly between supporting Resolve's overall storytelling efforts and creating compelling content for our pilot school program on promoting inclusive campuses.
Your Role
● Create and translate (Chinese & English) day-to-day content, design materials for various channels, including social media, website, newsletter and reports
● Assist with the creation of communications materials for Resolve’s new schools program to reach different stakeholders such as students, educators, volunteers, and other partners
● Expected to support with delivery of events and activities, with a focus on the school program
● Maintain and manage Resolve’s digital accounts to monitor and report on comments, and timely follow up on DMs
● Liaise with community members to gather materials for communications and social media content for better storytelling and key messages
● Conduct regular website audits to identify areas for improvement, such as SEO, user experience, and performance
● Track and analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on effectiveness
● Assist in the maintenance and archiving of Resolve’s key communications assets for the team
Qualifications and Skills
● Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese
● Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as communications, education, social sciences
● Values diversity, equity and inclusion
● A great sense of creativity and aesthetic with skills in curating social media and content management systems, ideally including Squarespace, Canva
● Proactive communication with high attention to detail and willingness to learn
● Proficiency in photography/videography, editing and design software is a plus
● Experience in planning events and facilitation would be beneficial

Salary
HK$15,000-$16,000 pcm depending on experience. Immediate availability preferred & ideally starting in September. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted on a rolling basis.
