Job Description: The Program Coordinator supports the Program Manager in the daily operations of the drop‑in, aftercare, and Family House (shelter) programs. This entry‑to‑junior role focuses on beneficiary engagement, program and class support, communication, and maintaining a safe, warm, and welcoming environment.-based Christian NGO committed to outreach, prevention, and holistic care. Sons & Daughters is a faith‑based Christian organization, and the ideal candidate is a committed Christian who actively practices their faith and aligns with the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds (S&D Spiritual Constitution available upon request). 

Reporting To : Program Manager and/or CEO 

1. Beneficiary Engagement & Hospitality

• Welcome beneficiaries and help maintain a warm, safe, and supportive environment.

• Build rapport through respectful conversations and simple activities.

• Support seasonal celebrations and small community‑building events.

• Assist with basic intake introductions for new beneficiaries (training provided).

2. Communication & Relationship Support

• Communicate with beneficiaries via WhatsApp/phone for class reminders, appointments, and program updates, following S&D guidelines.

• Maintain healthy boundaries while providing supportive and consistent communication.

• Coordinate with volunteers via WhatsApp and email for schedules and reminders.

3. Program, Class & Family House Support

• Assist the Program Manager with preparing weekly and monthly program schedules.

• Support volunteer instructors with class logistics and simple materials preparation.

• Set up rooms, materials, and sign‑in sheets for sessions.

• Provide onsite support during program hours and help address basic needs with supervision.

• Help lead simple activities or workshops when assigned.

4. Family House and Promise House 

• Support daily routines and help maintain clean and welcoming shared spaces.

• Assist with basic tasks such as organizing supplies and preparing simple resources.

• Support Family House guests with reminders, appointments, and activities as directed.

• Conduct supervised home visits when needed (safety protocols followed).

• Report any concerns promptly to senior staff and help uphold house guidelines.

5. Data & Administrative Support

• Record attendance, session notes, and basic beneficiary updates.

• Maintain program and Family House files.

• Enter data into the CRM and assist with simple KPI tracking.

• Answer Promise House phone and WhatsApp messages with professionalism during opening hours.

6. Volunteer & Event Support

• Assist the Program Manager and Outreach & Volunteer Coordinator with volunteer scheduling and onboarding.

• Prepare materials and provide onsite support to volunteers. 

• Help plan and run program events, workshops, and seasonal celebrations.

• Support logistics such as setup, materials, refreshments, reminders, and cleanup.

• Create simple visuals or promotional materials using Canva (training provided).

7. Other Duties

• Participate in one outreach per month.

• Support small purchases, supply checks, and petty cash submissions.

• Assist with ad hoc tasks assigned by the Program Manager and/or CEO. 

Skills Required :

● Mature Christian faith, aligned with the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds, and active involvement in a local church (pastoral reference required).

● A heart for serving vulnerable communities and alignment with Sons & Daughters’ mission.

● Warm, respectful interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with diverse groups.

● Responsible, reliable, emotionally mature, and able to handle confidential information.

● Basic computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Canva).

● Strong attention to detail in admin, planning, and record-keeping. Desired: 

● Fluency in both Chinese and English.
