Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is recruiting a PSP Assistant (Donor Development), carrying an external title of “PSP Executive (Donor Development)”, will work alongside with the existing team to provide high-efficiency donor development and deliver engaging donor communications.
This position is a UNOPS position with a contract which is renewable each calendar year.
Requirements:
· Education
- Completion of the Territory Education, degree is desirable in Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Candidates with a degree in other disciplines with a proven relevant professional record will be accepted.
· Work Experience
Essential
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience for high school diploma and 0 year of experience with a bachelor’s degree or higher, with proven experience in fundraising work related to donor development and marketing gained in Hong Kong Fundraising market is desirable.
· Key Competencies
· Knowledge of MS office especially MS Word, MS Excel
· Attention to details, high accuracy and result oriented
· Ability to collaborate with others, with a flexible and positive attitude
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Able to work independently and under pressure
· Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English
· Good writing skills for donor communications material.
· Customer service oriented
Responsibilities:
· Under the supervision of the Assistant PSP IG Officer - Donor Care, to work closely with UNHCR and supporting the implementation of the Donor Care Programme of UNHCR's Private Sector Partnerships Unit, with a particular focus on donor development
· Support the initiation and execution of donor engagement activities and enhancing donor development performance through WhatsApp
· Explore e-commerce opportunities on emerging digital channels, provide data support and insights to the supervisor
· Assist the supervisor in implementing donor development strategies to increase donor loyalty and lifetime value
· Support the development of digital donor communications content for individual giving donors
· Assist in following up with donors via phone, post and email regarding donation transactions and donor inquiries
· Conduct telephone fundraising campaigns as required
· Undertaking other duties as assigned by the supervisor
