Foundation for Shared Impact (“FSI”) is currently partnering with The Hongkong Bank Foundation (the “Bank”) to manage its charitable scholarship scheme (the “Scholarship Scheme”) and its Hub for the Future (the “Hub”, a community of past and current scholarship recipients) community, and we are looking for a new Program Manager to take this program to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide network of university students and seasoned working professionals, curating and delivering leadership-building activities, community engagement, and other learning and training programs to transform the Hub into a force for good. This job is ideal for someone motivated and interested in community building and engagement with an open-mindedness to embrace challenges and different perspectives. You will also be working with several external partners, and thus will need to possess great communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, as well as strong analytical and organizational traits.

As the Program Manager, you will report directly to the Executive Director of FSI. You will be responsible for overseeing the operations and communications for the Scholarship Scheme, organizing events and programs for the Hub, and serving as the manager of a Program Officer. With assistance from the Program Officer for this program, you will work collaboratively with the rest of the FSI team and actively manage the relationships between all the stakeholders of the Scholarship Scheme and the Hub, including current scholarship recipients, alumni, universities, and the Bank.

Job Description

As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
● Operating the secretariat for the Scholarship Scheme, including managing the logistics and organization of the selection process, planning and organizing interviews, participating in roadshows at Hong Kong universities to promote the Scholarship Scheme to students, and managing the database of all engaged stakeholders.
● Designing and delivering events and programs for Hub members, with the overall goal of nurturing a vibrant community of future leaders equipped with the skills and mindset to bring a positive impact to the wider community.
● Developing and growing the alumni leadership committee for the Scholarship Scheme.
● Developing and delivering leadership programs for Scholarship Scheme recipients.
● Working with FSI’s Communications Manager to develop and execute an overall communications and marketing strategy (including social media and website) for the Scholarship Scheme to raise its visibility for Hub members, at universities, in Hong Kong and abroad.
● Working with FSI’s Communications Manager to produce articles, case stories, and impact reports about the Scholarship Scheme, its recipients, and alumni.
● Engaging and managing relationships between all stakeholders of the Scholarship Scheme, including the Bank’s employees.
● Act as the manager of the Program Officer of the Scholarship Scheme.
● Plus other responsibilities relevant to the Scholarship Scheme and FSI’s broader youth empowerment and skills-based volunteering programs as assigned by the Executive Director of FSI.

Preferred background:
● Strong leadership, networking, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
● Strong administrative skills, including data management skills.
● Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably in program and/or event management.
● Strong project and event management skills.
● Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced, and multicultural environment.
● Experience with communications and marketing, and strong writing skills.
● Responsible, proactive, committed, and driven work ethic.
● Experience in managing a team.
● Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese.
● Good technology literacy and proficiency in using digital tools.

● Salary (HK$25K - HK$30K based on experience) + MPF
