Enrich is seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Communications Officer to report to the Senior Communications Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to gain non-profit experience and be part of a meaningful and rapidly growing organisation changing the lives of a marginalised community in Hong Kong. This is a part-time (3-day-per-week) paid position. We are ideally looking for someone who can start immediately and has the right to work in Hong Kong.
Key responsibilities:
● Communications support: Support the Senior Communications Manager in implementing Enrich’s communications strategy, including drafting, editing, and publishing content.
● Fundraising support: Assist the Senior Communications Manager in coordinating fundraising initiatives, including digital marketing with a strong focus on social media campaigns and email marketing.
● Content creation: Generate regular, high-quality communications material covering Enrich’s work, including blog posts, vetting and sharing important articles and stories.
● Website management: Support updates and fixes, liaising with vendors when needed.
● Social media management: Help manage Enrich’s social media presence, ensuring all communication is in line with our brand and style.
● Newsletter production: Draft and design quarterly newsletters.
● Media outreach: Assist with initiating and coordinating contact with media in Hong Kong to raise Enrich’s profile.
● Campaign support: Collaborate with the Senior Communications Manager on social media campaigns, Facebook ads, and Google Ad grant activities.
● Annual report: Contribute to drafting and designing Enrich’s annual report.
● Design work: Provide graphic design support for communication materials.
● Digital engagement: Support online engagement with the migrant domestic worker community, including Facebook Live “Ask the Experts,” polls, quizzes, and partnerships with influencers.
● Monitoring and reporting: Help track online traffic, engagement, and feedback, contributing to internal reports and funder reporting.
● Translation: Translate communications content from English into Traditional Chinese to ensure accessibility and inclusivity across audiences.
CRITICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
● Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related major, with experience in sales, marketing, digital, or related professional area preferred.
● Knowledge and passion for the work of Enrich.
● Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
● Competent IT Skills (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, Google Workspace)
● Communications background, with social media and business writing experience
● Project management skills
● Basic graphic design (i.e. Canva, Adobe) and/or website content management is an advantage
● Enthusiastic, proactive, and with a high level of integrity
● Well-organised, a team player, and able to work independently
About Enrich
Enrich is a fast-growing, dynamic charity working to promote the economic empowerment of migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong. Established in 2007, Enrich provides financial literacy, business development and empowerment education programmes that allow migrant domestic workers to take greater control of their finances and secure the future for themselves and for their families.

Enrich Centre, 1102 Enterprise Building, 228-238 Queen’s Road Central, Hong Kong.
Salary and benefits:
HKD 9,000 a month, depending on the level of experience and competencies. We offer 12 days of annual leave, health insurance, and a contribution to the Mandatory Provident Fund. Other staff benefits include an Employee Assistance Program, offering up to 4 free sessions of counselling. We are a learning organisation and offer development and well- being opportunities throughout the year. We currently have a hybrid working model in place, allowing flexibility in working locations within Hong Kong.
