Shakespeare4All Company Limited (S4A) is Hong Kong’s leading English performing arts youth charity founded in 2003 and is a charity registered under S88. It is recognised throughout Hong Kong for its spectacular annual Shakespeare Gala event, supported by founding sponsor SWIRE Properties and has provided drama experiences to thousands of students from aided, direct subsidy, government and private schools in the region. 
 
At its inception, S4A pursued a very specific manifesto of using hakespearean text to support confidence in English. However, in recent years the organisation has evolved to work on a larger platform, providing diverse performance and learning opportunities to children and youth along with professional support. We are also true to the ‘4All’ part of our moniker by reaching out into communities to work with students and students with different abilities from all over Hong Kong.

Community Project Officer (Arts Administration Intern)  
(6 to 12 months contract, starting April/May 2026)  
 
We are now looking for a candidate with the following skills and attributes:   
  • Diploma graduate or above, experienced in arts management experience is an advantage, fresh graduate also welcome 
  • Bilingual speaker with ability to write in Chinese 
  • Passionate about theatre and working with young people 
  • Strong commitment to arts education and community engagement 
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and like to be challenged  
  • Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate production schedules. 
 
Responsibilities:   
  • Assisting in project planning, scheduling, and coordination of The Gala Production and various community programmes  
  • Arranging the logistics of The Gala Production’s rehearsals and move in week, and other workshops and events 
  • Coordinating with parents, schools, participants and partner organisers  
  • Assist in planning marketing and publicity campaign, including advertising, PR, media planning and social media 
  • Supporting administrative operations, including documentation, reporting, and correspondence. 
  • Maintain project database and records 
  • Work alongside with the administrative, creative and production teams 
  • Support on-site operations during rehearsals, performances, auditions and events  
  • Assisting with post-project evaluation and reporting  
 
Working Schedule:   
  • The initial contract will be for 6 months, with potential for extension to May 2027
