Redress is a Hong Kong-based, Asia-focused environmental NGO on a mission to accelerate the transition to a circular fashion industry by educating and empowering designers and consumers in order to reduce clothing’s negative environmental impacts. Working directly with designers, manufacturers, brands, educational bodies, government and consumers, Redress aims to create lasting environmental change in fashion.
ABOUT THE CIRCULAR FASHION PROGRAMME
Redress’ Circular Fashion Programme focuses on reducing clothing waste entering Hong Kong’s landfills by increasing the reuse, resale, and recycling of post-consumer clothing. Throughout the year, Redress runs a citywide clothing collection and redistribution programme as well as events, talks, extensive schools outreach, and its signature campaign, Get Redressed Month, to drive positive change in consumer behaviour. Redress also runs a year-round secondhand clothing shop, The Redress Closet, and twice-annual pop-up shops to promote and encourage resale in Hong Kong.
