We are supporting an international non-profit organization in the search for their Human Resources Manager. Reporting into the Global HR Director and leading a small team, the HR Manager will support global HR compliance, risk and operations, while ensuring local operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

On a global scale:
  • Lead implementation and optimization of HR systems and digital tools to streamline processes.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws across regions, updating policies and conducting audits to mitigate risks.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits, and reward programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Standardize HR policies and processes globally, while adapting them to local contexts.
  • Produce HR metrics, compliance reports, and support performance appraisal cycles.
On a local (Hong Kong) scale:
  • Act as the primary HR contact locally, advising leadership on HR matters.
  • Manage and support the local HR and Admin team, overseeing daily operations.
  • Roll out global HR initiatives tailored to local practices.
  • Drive recruitment, employer branding, and performance management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour regulations and optimize HR workflows using technology.
  • Manage departmental budgets and identify opportunities for efficiency.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years’ progressive HR experience, including compliance, operations, and risk management.
  • Proven track record in policy standardization, audits, and scaling HR processes internationally.
  • Experience leading teams and managing cross‑cultural collaboration.
  • Experience working within the non-profit sector, highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, automation tools, and HR analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits, benchmarking, and labour laws.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Cantonese and Mandarin.
