Are you a final-year student who wants to do something that actually matters before you graduate?
Inspiring Girls Hong Kong is a non-profit on a mission to connect the next generation of girls with extraordinary female role models — from finance and tech to the arts and entrepreneurship. We show girls what's possible, and we'd love to show you the same.
We're looking for one highly motivated final-year intern to take a central role in delivering our flagship Career Fair and growing our school network. This is not a tick-box internship. You'll be in the room with partner companies, teachers, advocates, and the girls we serve — and your work will be visible, valued, and genuinely impactful.
Why You'll Love This
● Real access, real relationships. Work directly with representatives from leading companies and senior women across business, STEM, and the arts. The network you build here will follow you.
● Event experience that stands out. Support 5+ physical Inspiring Girls events per month — talks, workshops, school visits — and play a key role in delivering our flagship Career Fair.
● Ownership from day one. You'll manage stakeholder communications, coordinate logistics, run social media, and build partnerships. These are skills employers actually care about.
● Built around your schedule. We know you have a dissertation, classes, and job applications. We care about results, not rigid hours.
● Mentorship, recognition, and a strong reference. Work closely with our team, receive an official certificate, reference letter, and portfolio testimonials.
What You'll Do
Career Fair & Events (Core Focus)
● Lead on planning and executing our flagship Career Fair — from promotion and logistics to day-of delivery \
● Coordinate with partner companies, teacher associations, and NGO collaborators to secure their participation
● Support the smooth running of ~5 monthly physical events (talks, workshops, school visits)
● Manage social media content and campaigns reaching hundreds of girls and schools
● On Career Fair day: welcome VIP guests, facilitate activities, and keep things running seamlessly
School Recruitment & Growth
● Research and proactively reach out to potential new partner schools
● Help organize and attend introductory meetings with teachers (in person where possible)
● Contribute to onboarding at least 5 new schools for the next academic year
What We Offer
● Monthly stipend of HKD 8,000 + full reimbursement of travel and event expenses
● Flexible working hours (20–28 hrs/week) designed around your university schedule
● Direct exposure to corporate partners and high-profile female leaders
● The opportunity to make a real, visible difference in girls' lives
Who You Are
● Final-year undergraduate student based in Hong Kong (Year 3 or 4, any discipline)
● A strong communicator — English and Cantonese fluency required; Mandarin is an advantage
● Organized, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders at once
● Genuine passion for women's empowerment and youth development
Duration:
1 May – 31 July 2026 (3 months, with the possibility to extend or transition to full-time post-graduation).
