This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service at WWF visitor centres, particularly the Peter Scott Visitor Centre, and supporting back-of-house operations to maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer-focused – Front of House
· Ensure the highest levels of visitor experience through positive interactions.
· Provide customer service at the front desk, Panda Shop, and Kingfisher Café.
· Monitor bookings and prepare for upcoming events.
· Meet and greet visitors, introduce WWF’s brand, tours, and activities.
· Actively promote WWF events and exhibitions.
· Promote and recruit members and donors, and operate sales at centres or outdoor events.
· Operate cashier functions, POS, and booking systems in line with WWF policies.
· Conduct opening and closing tasks of the centre.
· Handle memberships, subscriptions, enquiries, feedback, and complaints.
· Assist customers with online orders and WWF product enquiries.
· Support food preparation, serving, and cleaning duties at the café.

Quality of Service – Back of House
· Responsible for centre opening/closing and permit applications.
· Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment, reporting maintenance needs.
· Support preventive maintenance recording and health & safety supervision.
· Ensure proper storage and accurate inventory of operating equipment.
· Assist with government permit applications and onsite inspections.
· Set up rooms and venues for events.
· Support WWF activities and departmental meetings.
· Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:
· Vocational training or diploma in hospitality management, with at least 3 years’ experience in retail, F&B, customer service, or event operations.
· Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a pleasant, outgoing personality.
· High accuracy and professionalism in handling inventory and POS systems.
· Physically fit and willing to work in outdoor conditions; cycling skills preferable.
· Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
· Proficiency in spoken Cantonese / Mandarin and English, with good written Chinese and English.
