WWF, the World Wide Fund for Nature, a non-profit organisation, headquartered in Switzerland, is one of the world’s most recognisable and respected independent conservation organisations.

This position supports the Centre Manages in maintaining the operations of the WWF Visitor Centers at Mai Po Nature Reserve including deliver of an excellent visitor experience to all visitors and executing Panda Shop operations while maintaining service standards that comply with the requirements of WWF-Hong Kong.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
o Ensuring an excellent visitor experience by providing positive interactions between WWF and visitors, including meeting and greeting visitors, proactively assisting visitors, and responding to their inquiries.
o Assisting in managing visitor bookings and events operations, including pre- and post-tour arrangements.
o Assisting in venue set-up and preparing materials for eco-tours, events, and activities.
o Providing retail services to the Panda Shop, including operating the cashier, POS system, and inventory systems.
o Providing catering services to Kingfisher Café, including wetland training courses, school and public tours, overnight programs and walk-in guests.
o Handling all-rounded administration tasks of the Visitor Centres when necessary.
o Handling visitor inquiries for Mai Po entry permit applications and assisting with on-site permit registration with official authorities.
o Assisting in Shuttle Bus arrangements, including visitor pick-up and registration at Yuen Long MTR Station.
o Maintaining the eco-visit equipment in clean and good condition.
o Cycling skill is essential to perform outdoor duties in Mai Po Nature Reserve.
o Nature interpretation skills would be advantageous.
o Assisting with other WWF activities as required.

Requirements:
o Possess tertiary education in any disciplines; fresh graduates and students are welcome to apply.
o A minimum of 2 years of work experience in retail, customer service, and/or event operations is preferred.
o Responsible, proactive, and customer-oriented, with a pleasant, outgoing, and approachable personality.
o Excellent skills in interpersonal communication, organizing, and customer service are required.
o Detail-minded with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism in handling inventory and POS information
o Good command of Chinese and English
o Willing to perform duties in an outdoor area.
o Shift work arrangement, the candidate should be willing to work during weekends and public holidays.
o The working hours are from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, and night shifts may be required during summer seasons, with working hours from 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm
o Candidates who can work for 3 days per month are preferred.
